** spoiler alert ** This was a good book. There were a lot of sad parts in it though which I guess the author felt had to be done. Still brought me down and I don't read books to feel bad about great or interesting characters. If anyone has to die, let it be a villain or someone the reader doesn't know and love. Another thing I didn't like about this book was the endless amount of cursing. Certain books you expect it, but this was kinda written like a Lifetime Movie only with cursing like sailors all the way through and these characters actually went to church! Apart from that, the hero's reaction to helping the heroine who's husband was responsible for his family's death was good at first, but I thought he went a little soft much to early for my taste. It ended well, and is still, a good read, if you can accept the author killing off interesting characters.

Terry Cursing? Are you serious?

Yeah, to me it seemed a bit much.
