No Tech Hacking: A Guide to Social Engineering, Dumpster Diving, and Shoulder Surfing
by Johnny Long
by Johnny Long
This book is about the physical security vulnerabilities inherent in human organizations.
A book with a number of sections contributed by different authors. Some winners and some losers, but overall the editing could have done much more to ease the flow between sections.
The material itself is largely ho-hum. The author demonstrates how you can, for example, research a repairman's uniform or identity badge. But without convincing the reader why exactly this is so bad, or presenting any viable alternative. In a word, contains some eye opening physical vulnerabilities and interesting anecdotes, but nothing in the way of actually practical advice.
