I've always thought if Stephen King entered The Stand into a storytelling contest it would win him the blue ribbon. That was until I read this book. It's the best of all his work. It's deep, personal, and emotional. The love story is multi-layered and will touch your heart and is told by the backdrop of time travel. Once you get into the story the plan to save JFK's life is secondary. You'll be caught up in the love story of Jake and Sadie, your heart will break with the characters, and you'll probably end up shedding tears with them. I did.
