Anne of Green Gables (Anne of Green Gables No. 1)
by Lucy Maud Montgomery
I second that emotion, 'Drea. This is one time that dramatization replicated the print version of a most engaging story of an outstanding host of characters with accuracy and class.
Anne is as plucky and inspiring on the screen as she is in print.

The experience of reading the Anne series, for myself, has been experiencing Anne's life, thoughts and feelings, not so much the storyline. But her story ...more
