My aunt recommended this to me as a "fluff" read. It was a fun read. It takes place in a small town and is told from the viewpoint of a laundramat owner and self proclaimed "Stain Expert". When a Martha Stewart-like character comes to town the mystery starts unfolding and it's up to Josie to figure it all out. It's an easy, quick read and the small town characters become very enduring. I have continued to read the remaining 5 Josie Toadfern novels and have equally liked all of them.
