I couldn't stomach this book so to be fair I only finished about a quarter of it so I can't speak for the whole thing. A friend recommended it to me. It seemed to justify selfishness on these somewhat flawed ethics-based arguments. I think it's a recommended reading for business majors. Some folks love it. A good book to check out on power that takes a somewhat different approach is Thich Naht Hanh's "The Art of Power".

S i feel both ways you describe about it.

although for practical matters and ease of use:

Getting to Yes
How To Become a CEO

are far more practical and easier (perhaps a little too easy) to get the point of if one was a business major, in agreement with your recommended reading list for business folk....

Power and Seduction are more for the NLP crowd, I believe...

Agent Smith I have been attempting to read this book for about a month and it has been sitting on my night stand. I am also having a hard time getting thru this book. I thought I was the only one. Thanks

Shawn Luby you have to take its content and look at it through diferent aspects of life .not for the timid and definitly for those who can use this info ,without letting go of morality.
