This book is about a swan who doesn't have a voice. He is given this trumpet to use for communication and then sets out into the world on his own adventure. He meets the love of his life, makes friends, and money.
The teacher that I've worked with for three years reads this every year, and the students always seem so interested in the book. So I would read it because it develops their listening skills and it's something students find interesting.
