Ever since I learned about Christopher Moore almost a decade ago, I've enjoyed all the books that he has written.

Coyote Blue isn't my favorite by Moore, but on the second reading of it I seem to enjoy it more than the previous time. As per usually for Moore, there was a nice collection of character with peculiar backgrounds coming together for a goofy adventure.

The usage of Native American folklore as an underlining theme for the book was quite interesting. I feel that my religious studies class I took in college paid off a bit for I was able to quickly able to see some of the aspects of Native American customs and beliefs in this book.

In comparison to some of the other texts I've been reading (H.P. Lovecraft, Three Kingdoms), it was nice to return to something lighter and not so demanding to read.

Overall, the amount of humor in this book wasn't as strong as some of his other works, but there were definitely some moments that had me laughing out loud (Mr. Tooth Decay).

I look forward to rereading many of his books that I've already read and some that I haven't.
