bookshelves: family, picture-book, bus-ride, flying, imagination, new-york-city
Read in January, 2011

On a bus ride with her grandmother, a young girl imagines the two of them flying high over New York City. Rosalba and her grandmother Abuela fly high around the city seeing some famous landmarks. This book also mixes in some phrases of Spanish in as well. This would be a good book for the classroom because of the landmarks in NYC and the infusion of some of the Spanish dictionary.
