I don’t think I can put in words how great this book was. We have the privileged to see a new version of Sam and Nick after the wedding: happy and wonderfully blessed. They are just home from their honeymoon when all hell came lose: a series of murderers that, at first sight, don’t have a thing in common.

Throughout the book, Skip got really sick (I didn’t get a good feeling from this one), Jeannie was coming back from the terrible attack she suffered and was almost herself again, Freddie finally had some courage to declare his feelings for Elin and to listen to his mom, and another couple (Lindsey and Terry) is present from the mix of the different worlds of Sam and Nick.

Scotty is in this book too, and in my opinion he is the most intelligent and well related child/pre-teen that I ever see/read in my life. It’s impossible not to love him and I was rooting for him the whole time.

Some mysteries weren't solved in this part of the Fatal Series like what went wrong in Skip's case, why he got sick and the old case Jeannie and Will were working on. I hope we get to see more of these characters soon.
