it was ok

I must say, I'm glad I didn't buy this book myself. I quite enjoyed the other books by Dan Brown, but this book just didn't seem as good. Perhaps I'm just fed up with the constant unravelling of signs and symbols that just make all his books seem the same... it just feels like you're reading the same book again, expect this time it's just not quite as fascinating. And it seemed a bit too preachy too, as though the beliefs of the characters were fact rather than beliefs.

It's an ok read, but it's nothing special and I just didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped I would.

Oh, and another thing that really annoyed me when I was reading it was the idea that Mal'akh was genderless. If this Mal'akh was genderless/gender neutral then stop referring to him as he and him. Just because he removed his testicles it does not mean that he has no gender. Gender =/= physicality. Your sex organs do not define your gender.
