Briggen, a medieval sci-fi fantasy masterpiece.
After eight years absence, and learning of his brother’s murder, the warrior prince, ‘Briggen’ returns to Neimus to be challenged for the throne. He faces political upheaval and an invasion from warring tribes wanting to desolate the planet. In addition, a sorceress plans to destroy the kingdom, seducing an ally and using unnatural powers to aid her schemes.

Like Briggen, Telana, an orphaned freighter pilot and ‘Quinhelm’ an old wizard, have telepathy and telekinesis abilities. The last of his kind, ‘Ephereon’ a fire-breathing dragon, protects the thrown, joining Briggen in his trials and tribulations to stop evil.

Ann B. Keller’s ability to vividly describe her many characters, places and events is a credit to this wonderful author. She leaves no stone unturned in this adventure of magical kingdoms and characters, giving a few hint to more adventures to come. Keller also bring her character’s to life, expressing realist emotions, love, hate and everything inbetween.

Briggen is 476 pages and worth readying every sentence. The author is a master with words, yet ‘Briggen’ is so well written, one can easily keep up with all that is going on, holding your attention to the last word. Briggen is a must read and I look forward to the next book in this series.
