Being so caught up in the Bigby/Snow story, I found this volume a little dry. It details the Arabic Homelands which are being invaded by the Emperor and the likes of Aladin, djinns and Solomons are being displaced in little Fabletown, along with their harems and slaves. King Cole resurfaces as the only one in Fabletown who speaks Arabic and he interestingly uses his "smooze" factor to act as a diplomat. He finally finds his place in this volume, which is the redeeming quality of it, I suppose.
