** spoiler alert ** In all three books, we follow the life of Chloe King, who learns of her true heritage: she is a member of an ancient Egyptian race called the Mai, beings who are a mix of cat and human. Throughout the story, we see the conflicts between Chloe and her human life, her mother, her own Pride, her enemies, and even herself. Even more conflicts arise when she learns that she is the leader of the Pride.

I found the novels to be really engaging. It was fast-paced the entire time and constantly held my attention. There were a few flaws here and there, like how easy it was for Chloe to reveal her true self to her friends, but other than that, I really loved the books. I’ve never seen the television series of it, so I just might watch it and see if it’s as good as the books were.
