Excellent sequel to The Dragon Path and it is better than the predecessor in almost every aspect: the world is finally taking shape, the races are beginning to have real depth, the characters, especially Geder and Cithrin, are absolutely fascinating and the prose is top-notch.
There is only one problem with it, the same as with The Dragon Path: even if Abraham is trying to write some kind of ending, the story he wants to tell doesn't really allow for any kind of intermediate ending. So this series will become a perfect experience only after it will be finished.
