I love Photoshop manipulation and the hilarity that can result. I saw "Do You See What I See" promoted through a NetGalley email, and thought it was right up my alley.

Huge disappointment. I found the images quite amateur, a quick cut and paint job rather than the smooth additions and edits I was expecting. Some were funny and well-done, but those were the minority. It was like watching a movie with bad special effects, it jars you out of enjoying the bigger picture.

Overall, some of the concepts were funny, but you have to struggle to look past the sloppy images. The folks at Something Awful's Photoshop Phriday may be tasteless sometimes, but their grasp of Photoshop is expert.

Arianne "Tex" Thompson So Mike, if I can ask, how come you're here on this nasty-critics' website? Shouldn't you be out standing perpendicular somewhere?
