Read in December, 2011

Loved his experiment and his positive attitude. Would be a great book to read with Nickel and Dimed in America. Excellent reading for teens and young adults starting out. We should all adopt his positive attitude.

Nicole N Hey Julie, Is this more recent than Nickel and Dimed? I did read it but the economy dates itself.
It would be interesting to read something that's only 2 or 3 years old.

Julie Yes this is a 2008 c. He doesn't spend as much time as Ehrenreich going into the roots of social problems, it's more focused on his personal experience of trying to climb out of poverty. I found it interesting.
