I ordered this book from the book orders that we could get in elementary school. Why it iwas in a child's book order, I'll never know. But the concept of a disease killing mankind was fascinating to me, and I had just seen the movie "Outbreak" and so I bought this.
Being a 6th-grade tomboy when I read it, my favorite part was when MC described what the dead people looked like.
Other than that, I didn't understand much of what was going on. I need to read it again.
