How to Drive a Dragon Crazy (The Dragon Kin, #6)

So worth the wait!!! How can I say enough about this book? This couple - Eibhear and Izzy - have been my favorite romance couple for a while. Even though they never had their own book! So to now have their story... there were a LOT of expectations hanging on this one. I am so glad that it delivered!
Izzy has been in love with Eibhear since she first met him when she was sixteen. He pretty much fell for her too, but he was technically her uncle since his brother married her mother and adopted Izzy as his own. As an immature dragon, he just didn't know what to do with the feelings that he had for her. But those feelings were strong and it is only with the most stringent self control that he was able to resist her...

I'll look into it. I just got started on a new series and my TBR pile is out of control! I also want to read Aiken's pride series. Have you read that?

Doesn't seem like Eibhear thinks so - based on the excerpt... :)

They did it again, postpone the release of the last bookin the series. All the way to early next year I want to
shoot someone.
Loucresha wrote: "Eibhear and Izzy belong together"Join us, Loucresha!! We need more voices in the Izzy/Eibhear camp! :) Llsbear is convinced Izzy is a spoiled brat who doesn't deserve Eibhear after she f***'d his cousin. We are trying to change his mind.
I have talk to others thru this site and I have gone from a minority of one to a minority of three, so I am
gaining on U.

LOL! Keep trying Llsbear!
I realizes that E & I will end up together. That doesn'tmean it would be best for E. I will be very PO if E has
to bow to I dreams.

Don't see why he would. Their dreams seem to be pretty similar - fight!
They both may be warriors, but that is were their beingalike ends. Eibhear will not want to return to the south
and Izzy will not to go north.

Says who?
Can't say anything for sure, but don't see Izzy givingup being General Izzy and moving to the north. Don't see
Eibhear moving south where nobody respect him.
If there was a single thing we could agree on and work from there, I'd keep going. But I don't even agree that Eibhear has no respect from his family. They respect him more than they do Gwenvael. And that family shows love and respect with ribbing. So, I can't even agree with your basic premises, let alone the ideas of Izzy and Eibhear.
Oh! We agree that E & I will end up together, just notthat it would be best for E. I will be very PO if E has
to crawl to I to get them together, that would just be
wrong.
I also think they {the family} has more respect forGwenvael who commands his own troops etc., than Eibhear
who must be protected or their mother will have their
asses.

THAT is NOT why they protect him. They protect him because he is their BABY brother, and always will be no matter how old they all are, and they LOVE him. And I personally hope, after all he has done, he has to crawl across hot coals on his hands and knees to win her back.
See that there is the big difference between us, I don'tthink either one of them should have to crawl.
The problem is Eibhear might crawl because according tohis youngest sister he did her wrong. Izzy will never
crawl she's to proud and she thinks she's never wrong.

Keita is NOT the only one who thinkgs that Eibhear did wrong. Brannie, Annwyl, Taliath, Breic. That is just naming the ones who have expressed it in some way. I am pretty sure that the list would go on if everyone weighed in. Even Rhona thinks that Eibhear and Izzy were equally at fault, but that is ONLY because Celyn and Eibhear were annoying her, not because she cared one way or the other or the topic. I'd say the only one who MAY consider Eibhear to be blameless is his other sister, Morfyyd, but even that is up in the air.
ONE - I don't remember Brannie or Annwyl every making acomment on with happen. TWO - You read different books
if you think any of his brothers blamed Eibhear, they
said he should have kill Celyn.
Yes, Celyn. Not Izzy. They thought that Izzy was innocent and that Eibhear should have killed Celyn. They also thought, through all the previous books, that Eibhear was being an idiot for not admitting what he felt for Izzy.Brannie did in the excerpt for HTDADC, at the end when she said he shouldn't have expected... while, you know. :) Annwyl made it seem like she was taking Izzy's side when she was running after Izzy up the hill while Eibhear and Celyn were fighting BUT it has been a long time and my exact memeory of her words is not strong. She said something like she was a virgin while in the army, but it certainly wasn't typical and Eibhear shouldn't have expected Izzy to remain as such. Or something along those lines....Either way, I don't see anyone blaming Izzy except Rhona and that blame was all about the hassle that Izzy caused FOR Rhona. She ammended her thinking as the book went on. As far as Eibhear is concerned. Quite a few openly blame him and that was with him running away at the end of the book. I am pretty excited to see all the ribbing his brothers will give him about it once he gets home. I am pretty sure they think he should crawl - if for no other reason then it would amuse them to watch.
I agree with your last line & that where any agreementends. I don't think Brannie comment in the excerpt show
support either way. As for Annwyl she trying to stay out
of it, she supports Izzy, but loves Eibhear her baby
brother-in-law.
I would like to see Eibhear screw Izzy, than leave andgo back to the icelands. Let her chase after him.
Message 37 - Outside of Izzy the only one to blame Eib-hear for anything are Taliath with her double standard
& Keita with her round heels and her outlook on life.
At the end of book 5 Eibhear wasn't running from anything he was running toward what he saw as a better
life in the north.
There isn't to many males on this site, U R all femalestaking the female point of view. I'm male and I am
taking the male point of view which is why we all dis-
agree on how Izzy & Eibhear should be handle.
Llsbear3 wrote: "And why does Izzy kept throwing everything at Eibhearhead."
Cause his head is so hard and he deserves it.
Hummm, was Izzy supposed to wait for Eibhear like a good little virgin? Eibhear rejected her over and over again. He made it clear that he didn't want her. The cousin however did. Was she supposed to say no Celyn, I must wait for the Dragon that does not want me. Hummm, what a boring little nut case she would be if she did that. Izzy is the kind of girl who wants what she wants and goes out and gets it. Eibhear had his chance to be with her, he had multiple chances thats why he was all nutty during the war. Eibhear has been spoiled by the women in his lift, he needed to grow up, Izzy however was raised by men, she agressive and goes for what she wants. The rolls are reversed here, thats all. If it was the other way around, (Eibhear sleeping with a cousin or friend of Izzy's) would you have a issue with them being together? I think not.
