I always have hard times with biographies, and autobiographies not because they aren't interesting but simply because I lose enthusaism about mid-way through it. This book was interesting a little slow going, but overall I really enjoyed it.

This book was about Harper Lee the author of To Kill a Mockingbird. A classic that is read by many. Her life was interesting to say the least. Her mother was manic and her father seems aloof. She has a passion for writing and reading at a young age and a best friend that was taken from her by his sparatic mother. This book tells of her journey throughout life being the outcast because she wasn't girlie and didn't take part in the frivilous activites as many of her peers did.
