Full color, detailed illustrations are the highlight of this book. A full page spread of photos, graphs, and illustrations is dedicated to a variety of common weather conditions, such as thunderstorms, hurricanes, floods, etc. There are small tidbits of information on each page detailing what must happen for each event to occur. It concludes with a look at specific examples of such events, such as Hurricane Katrina, the Canberra Firestorm, etc.
A useful tool for basic facts about weather events with great clarifying diagrams.
