Read from July 12 to 13, 2014

I was reading this a few years ago when my father was passing away. When he passed away I stopped reading it. I think I stopped everything I was in the middle of it, shelved it, and moved on to other things. It's time now, just over two year later, to read it.

Having finished it now I am glad I didn't finish it then. It was a heavy time. This is a heavy book.

I won't spoil it here or attempt to analyze it. I'll summarize it simply: it's about the way humans create their trap doors to acceptance, accepting the things In our lives, in Billy Pilgrims case - the horrors

This is a work of genius, and Vonnegut was one hell of a writer.
