Book three of the Maiden Lane Series, and the one I was most eager to read...

I really enjoyed this book (hell this series) a lot. I was most eager to read this particular book because in most romance novels you of course have some inner turmoil and demons that the characters have to get through in order to get to each other. This story however began at the end of the first book when the leading male (Mickey O'Connor), carelessly destroys the leading female's (Silence Hollingbrook) reputation and marriage simply on a whim. So not only do these two people have to overcome their own skeletons, but they also have to deal with the damage they have already caused one another. Some aspects of the healing process may have been able to have been handled better, but overall I really enjoyed the story.
