it was amazing

Well, I loved it. And I think anyone who reads this should skip any reviews and simply dive in. Try the sample first if you're e-reading it, or browse through the beginning in a bookstore.

It's different, it's tremendously compelling, it involves looking at the world through the eyes of a fascinating child. Obviously many, many folks think this is a brilliant book.

Whatever you do, don't think of it as a thriller.

I was annoyed at the folks who reviewed this and complained that it was boring to read something from a child's perspective, or that the mother was dull. I think those people don't like children much, or don't remember about the bond between a mother and child.

Just read it. And then come and tell us what you think!
