Her fast-paced lifestyle slows down when she decides to actually invest time and understanding into her mentally-disabled sister's life by riding the buses, what Beth does daily, to view life like she does. There are tidbits about bus drivers lives while focusing on the sister's avoidance of emotion and feeling that has been replaced with what amounts to narcissism. I found the stories fun at first, but after about half the book became bored with her tone and the monotony.
