Read from December 19 to 20, 2011

I loved Storm Glass. I loved the world introduced to us, I loved the concept and idea of magic and glass in the book, I loved the characters and the twists and turns in the plot. Everything was perfectly weaved together to form this marvellous work of art. This world is unique, intriguing, and I really enjoyed learning everything that can be learned about the world that Opal lives in, as well as the magic that she is developing.

I haven't read the Study series prior to this, which probably explains why I initially got lost at several Yelena references, but that will be corrected once I manage to get my hands on the books. Aside from that, the one thing that seemed a little odd was how chatty Devlen was. I don't think bad guys would want to reveal so much of their plans to their victims, but it was probably for the sake of the readers.

And thus I shall end this short review, because Sea Glass is calling to me.

Hp Tan Seems like I'll have to start Storm Glass soon.. Read the Study series and LOVED it. Well, except maybe Fire Study (you'd be disappointed, too). Have been hesitating to pick up the other books by Synder because I don't want to run out of good books but now your review is soo tempting...

H Hahaha! I've been meaning to get my hands on the Study series ever since I finished Storm Glass.. It's really that good huh? :O Shiya said that she liked the Glass series but preferred the Study series to it. Well, it's up to you to decide ^^ but I'd say it's worth the read, really. :)
