While marginally more interesting than Ripley Underground, Ripley's Game was basically the same--person who tangentially knows Tom Ripley gets pulled into his schemes and subsequently corrupted while Ripley magically gets off scot-free. Ripley is a fascinating character, but I'm getting the feeling that nothing in the rest of the series will equal the incisive, hypnotic pull of the first book. I won't be checking out the remainder of the Ripliad.
