Well done Michelle Sagara! This series keeps getting better with each new book... Kaylin is developing from a rebellious and sometimes immature teenager to a more insightful and thoughtful adult. The dragons again take a central role and I love the crotchety grumpiness of the Arkon. Severn is still the steadfast support that Kaylin relies upon although their relationship dynamic is beginning to alter as Kaylin opens up a little about her experiences at the hands of Barren before she joined the Hawks.
Lots of tantalising hints of things to come... the Chronicles of Elantra is proving to be an excellent series and I will be pre-ordering the next book as soon as I can. It's a real shame that this series is not available in the UK.
