** spoiler alert ** What can I say about Douglas Adams! He is funny and at the same time thought provoking. His sort of humor might not be for everyone. I had recommended it to some people and they seemed to not to have enjoyed it. The humor comes mostly through satire, sarcasm and occasionally through ridiculous situation, such as when the whole "Improbability Drive" got hung due to Arthur's demand for an earthly tea.

I really enjoyed it. It was an easy read. I could pick it up any time and stop at any point without being drawn into it. There aren't many characters to remember and you needn't remember everything that's happened earlier either.
