I loved this book!!! My kids did too! In this book, the little girl is ashamed of eating lima beans (although she LOVES them), because no one else likes them. She transforms into whatever it is her friends desire in order to fit in but ends up being an outcast all along. Then there is a little lady that comes and makes the little girl transform back into herself by feeding her lima beans. From that day forward, the little girl doesn't hesitate to be herself. I love how the book sends the message of the importance of being yourself regardless of what others think. The illustrations are excellent! I would recommend this book for K-2.
