This book was really different, but it was really good. It actually wasn't as violent as I thought it would be, but there were a few things that surprised me. I thought it was interesting that the author decided to include real people and events from everyday life. It made it very different, but intriguing. I never thought I would see a mouse dressed up as a pig, though. It's very good, because it gives us some insight into the life of a Polish Jew trying to survive the Holocaust.

SENSITIVITY WARNING: Violence, some shocking imagery, death, a few instances of nudity
