Witchful Thinking ended exactly where it started. It's a paranormal book which has vampires, werewolves, demons, faes, witches, warlocks, ghosts and a prophetess, with time-traveling. As Jolie Balfour, who has suddenly become Queen of the Underworld (a responsibility that she doesn't want and a barrier to the love of her life: Rand) has to take up the task of learning to be Queen. She has suspicion of Mercedes and Sinjin but was unable to discover what are they plotting until it was too late.

In the interest of Twilight, I am so Team Rand. Rand, who is the warlock and the love of Jolie's life, is reliable and stable as well as hot. Sinjin,who is a vampire, has the look but his bad boy's quality attracted Jolie. She cares for him but is not in love with him.

This book pulls you in. (I took a few days more just to go back and read certain scenes in the book otherwise I would have finished it a lot faster.) Witchful Thinking summarized what has happened in the first two books "Fire Burn" and "Cauldron Bubble". (which are ebooks). I have an itch just to read those two books to account the complicated three-way love relationship between Rand, Sinjin and Jolie.

I'm already curious about the fourth book to find out if Jolie ends up with Rand or Sinjin (I'm still cheering for Rand).
