Secret is back kicking ass and taking names. Secret's life as a hybrid (half vamp, half werewolf) never has a dull moment. If she's not having business related problems there's her personal life to keep her on her toes.

Secret seems to be adjusting to her new job as best as can be expected. Nothing like getting a promotion that you didn't ask for and can't say no to unless you are willing to lose a fight to the death.

She is still in a love triangle between Lucas the werewolf king and her live-in boyfriend Desmond, who just happens to be Lucas' second in the pack. Then let's not forget Holden, the sexy vampire that is in Secret's life.

Now let's throw in a demon in to that mix and see what comes out, shall we? That's right this time around Secret is dealing with a demon that is hell bent on getting back to his world and he is not above using a few co-eds at the local college campus to satisfy his needs.

Secret has a lot to juggle in Deep Dark Secret. She is enlisted by Holden to help find a friend's missing niece. Her ex-boyfriend uses his one call to call her in hopes that she will help him clear his name of murder. Oh and Lucas needs her help with pack matters.

If you enjoy a smart mouth heroine that can swing a mean sword you need to give the Secret McQueen series by Sierra Dean a try.
