it was amazing
Read from December 05 to 14, 2011

If you read PARTY, also by Tom Leveen, you know he's got a way of populating his books with real, believable people. The same holds true for this compelling, edgy YA, ZERO.
Amanda is Zero, a seventeen-year-old artist with plenty of self-doubt. Mike is the drummer for an up-and-coming punk band and Amanda's new guy. The art and music world provides a rich background for a story older teens will love. (Mature language and content.) These are flawed characters struggling to make sense of it all, to find love and not screw it up...and to dare to live their dreams.

Planning to finish by the end of the week. Not sure who is the keeper of the ARC, but if I get the go-ahead I'll mail it to ya!

Amy Tom has such an amazing voice...or maybe it's his characters that have an amazing voice. Lots of art and music in this one...I'm feeling quite uneducated and nerdy.
