Do you know what it feels like to not even know where your from? Or who your dad is? Or if your last name is actually what it is? Well then you know how heidi felt.
Heidi is a 12 year old girl who is born from a mother with disabilities. She doesn’t know anything about her past and that’s how its been since she was young. When her mom (who only knows 23 words) keeps saying a made up word , soof, over and over again, she is set on a journey to discover who she is and where she belongs.
SO B. it. So B. It. So B. it. That’s all i could think about after this book.
Heidi (the main character) is a 12 year old girl who is always optimistic and determined. She is a girl who fly’s under the radar, but reappears whenever she wants
Liberty, New York is where everything falls into place and where she finds out what she has dreamed of knowing. The conflict of this story is that Heidi is trying to find out about her past, but her mom is not able to tell her and she wont stop until she knows.
I loved how this book really made you feel like your were there with Heidi. You felt bad when she was upset and were happy when she was happy. I really liked it all and there was nothing I didn’t enjoy or would change. I recommend this book to anyone, old or young, girl or boy. It is a great book that everyone would enjoy.
