In Jeff Kinney's Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, he has taken a middle school boy, Greg Heffley, and put him in hilarious situations - both as a result of his actions or as a result of other's actions. I was amazed at how many sticky situations this poor kid found himself in, and I found myself laughing in several parts of the book. The poor kid is the poster child of awkwardness. Jeff Kinney's illustrations complete this book.

I have heard a lot about the Wimpy Kid books, but this is the first time I have read one. I have a 12-year-old daughter who has loved them, so I was anxious to see what she was reading and what she liked so much about the series. I was not disappointed. I would highly recommend this book for any child that is able to read that level. It is humorous for adults as well.
