With its lush descritions that brought the world of nineteenth century steamboats to life, George R R Martin's classic vampire novel was a natural choice to be adapted into a graphic novel, and thankfully it doesn't disappoint. Adapted for the format by Daniel "The Dragon's Path" Abraham, the story of Captain Abner and his mysterious business partner Joshua York, is just as thrilling and enthralling a read in this format, with Rafa Lopez's art perfectly capturing the scenes and the setting. All in all definately worth a read regardless of whether or not you're a fan of the original.
