I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I would have given it 5 stars had there been more romance. I do believe that Quinn and Eli fell in love, etc, but so much time is taken up by the family drama, it's easy to forget that you're reading a love story.

The first act of this book made me so angry it was ridiculous. Mitchell, gives us a jerk for a villain in Peter, who has absolutely no redeeming qualities. By the time Quinn meets Eli, you are willing something wonderful to happen to the guy, because he was stuck with Peter for so long. I liked seeing happiness come to Eli after meeting him in Bad Company and it was great seeing glimpses of Kellan and Nate's life together.

The problem is the author spends so much time with Peter and the family drama, you spend the time so indignant, at least if you're me. I wanted a lot more to happen to Peter, I wanted him to be served his just deserts, but I feel like the resolution of this problem was rushed and not as strong as the beginning scenes.

Quinn is written so well, that I wanted Peter to hurt just as much as Quinn was hurt.
