This book was another that caused a discussion between me and my bi husband. Particularly the part where Damon finally sees Alex and not male or female. That's what my husband can do and it's something I'm still trying to understand and maybe see for myself. This book helped me get a little closer to that. I want to see the soul inside the shell.

Sarah This is in my tbr pile/mountain. But I think you've highlighted one of the reasons people so often confuse me - I'm bi; what I find attractive can be a bit random - beautiful eyes, a nice bum, a beautiful neck. But it isn't limited by male/female (both cis & trans). And whilst I appreciate that people find different features attractive I'm still surprised when it's limited

Cris Your review made me re-read the book. I really love watching Damon's eyes open to the fact that he's in love with Alex, not Alex's parts.

Thorny I think you'll like it then, Sarah. It has both Damon's and Alex's points of view so you get to see both sides of everything.

It was a really great moment, Cris :)

Sarah I've started reading it today - very, very good so far. And the explanations of what the mind wants not fitting with how the body is are heartbreaking.
