it was ok
bookshelves: lit-huh-rary, babble-added
Read in June, 2008

The heroine is a bit annoying in her waffling whining about 'the man she loved' but perhaps that makes it realistic. An unusual alternate world tale shaped by certain key events that turned out differently, some have unusual powers, and everyone is passionate about literature (really loved that aspect). The setting didn't feel well established before all the heavy action began. I do like the element of how Jane Eyre came to be the way it is.

Jocelyn Hey do you like this book? I saw "The Big Overeasy" by Fforde in the bookstore and wanted to pick it up.

Eh?Eh! I neglected to update sooner--see above. It's ok. I'm not sure about his other books but judging from this one, I would suggest checking out from the library instead of buying...I know that's not how you roll. :o)

Mariel I didn't like this either. (I see I didn't even add it to my gr shelves. I've added some terrible books.)
