Lightning quick read, like candy for the brain (with the same nutritional value). This story is set in 1996, alternating chapters featuring Emma and Josh as they sign up for AOL and somehow connect to their future Facebook accounts, which lets them see how their actions alter their futures. The 90s references were sometimes a little overdone (random conversations about which bands they were listening to, TV shows, and technology like modems and beepers and VCRs, etc.), but there's appeal to the premise that you can get a glimpse of the future whenever you go online. I liked Josh, Emma not so much, and mostly kept reading out of curiosity to see how it would end.
