Just delightful!

The book takes a while to really get into its groove, but there are lots of little incidences along the way to keep the reader entertained. That is what makes this series so enjoyable.

F&C is slight departure from the previous two books as it focuses more on Ty and Zane's relationship and their personal perceptions and development. I would recommend that if you pick this book up, make sure you have a decent block of uninterupted time to absorb and enjoy the 'Ty and Zane train' for each segment that is read.

...So looking forward to the next book!...

16 - 20 April 2012: listened to this in audio.

I think I prefer these books to read, not listen. There are so many details to accumulate and this can be difficult in audio; my concentration is reduced as I am generally driving, so necessarily my attention is on the road.

Narrator: Sean Crisden

Good solid narration. Perhaps he spoke just a fraction fast at times? but I liked his characterisations once I got into the story. Having previously read the book I already had preconceived notions of accents - I was expecting Zane's to be Texan, however I think this would have stretched any narrator on top of the Ty's US/English accent plus all the side characters' accents (Italian, Turkish, etc etc)...

Yup - nothing more to say. I just REALLY enjoy this series and I'm now working through the rest of these books!

Quirkythrope I think Mr. Crisden needs to do one more book with a toppy Texan (between Zane here and Rand in Timing) to be officially considered typecasted.

Jane (PS) LOL - The Cut & Run series are my first group of audio M/M . Am reading Timing for the first time right now - might have to get that in audio as well! ;)

Quirkythrope You might enjoy it. I'm more meh on Calmes' books (too many perfectly perfect main characters, IMO) and more meh when they're on audio. It was Crisden's performance here in F&C and D&C that sold the man to me, like wow, give him an awesome book and he does great things.
