A charming story. Probably predictable but I liked it. Drawn to it because I have gotten it out each Christmas for at leas 15 years but only reread it today. What triggered it was i remembering sharing it with Rosalinda and we both liked it. I wanted to send it back to her.
The simple story of how a young man learns that the first gift of christmas is love. That is simplistic it is the expressions of love that are the challenge.
But the story is draped in old houses and a great beauty and a charming old lady.
