This was a very interesting and thought provoking book about the power of religion and those who lead. The power of God through Joseph Smith's and Brigham Young's leadership was profound and as with all religions that power made some choices that the masses would not have lived with if they weren't convinced that it would achieve salvation. Isolation of a people leads to many false ideals as they are not questioned.
