I Just Play One On TV was not quite what I was expecting. I thought I'd get some sappy sexed up porn story but it's actually quite sweet although a little angsty.
A few of the great points of the book:
1) The main characters voice. The book is written in Vince's POV and he has great character. I adored him and wanted to hug him through the book.
2) The plot suprised me, as in there actually is a plot, not just erotic gay porn.... which BTW, the show they are filiming is NOT porn as I suspected but a night-time sci-fi series. I'm not sure why I thought the book would be about making a porno, I guess I've read too many like that lately.
3) I got teary-eye for a bit. *sniff* Any book that gets me a little tearful gets extra credit.

The issues I had after reading are pretty small but I felt the book got a but winded in the middle. Also, I wasn't a big fan of Alex but he redeemed himself in the end so that makes up for some of his assholeness in the begining.

Natalie I'm glad you liked it! The funny thing is, if you hadn't already read it, I would have chosen More Than Make Believe for you, which totally is about shooting a porn film. :)
