really liked it
bookshelves: children-s-literature, newbery-award-winner, novels

This is one of those really good books that is well-written and you're sure someone else absolutely loves but can't get into yourself. At least for me. For those who enjoy the premise - a midwife's apprentice during the middle ages - this is a wonderfully researched novel and gives insight into early "feminism".
