This is one heavy read and is an awesome trip down rock and roll memory lane for ANY music fan, not just Skynyrd fans. You feel like you knew Ronnie Vanzant after reading this. I listened to old CDs over and over while I read this book and there were times I cried and times I laughed out loud. He makes you feel like you're right there with them, even right down to the details of the plane crashing. This dude was right there and lived through it and survived it all, I can't believe he waited this long to put this book out but I'm glad he did. A lot of people don't know about it, but I'm ordering a copy for every Skynyrd fan I know for Christmas!!! I give it an A++++ LONG LIVE THE FREEBIRDS forever.
