I tried to use this novella as a hold-over until "Iron Daughter" finally comes into the library for me. It wasn't enough! In fact, I feel more desperate afterwards. So much for that idea!

For those, like me, who are biding their time between Iron Fey books, this novella lets us spend a little time with heroine Meghan and her reluctant, star-crossed love, Prince Ash. But not enough time! We meet a couple of interesting fey side characters, but there aren't any revelations or character insights that make the book a must read.

Still, you take what you can get when you need it, right?
