It was... okay.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot to say beyond that. I enjoyed it, but not enough to review it right away. It made me consider hunting down a Queen Victoria biography, but I haven't gotten around to it. I would recommend it to lukewarm readers, especially those who like "eh" historical fiction. I wish I could recommend it more highly but I can't.

It was closer to good than bad. Take that as you will.
