Molly Moon is an orphan who discovers a book on hypnotism in her local library. She practices her new skill on the headmistress' dog only to find that she's really good at it. She hypnotizes her way to fame and fortune, and changes the lives of the people around her. But someone's after her. Someone who wants to use her skill for their own personal gain.

I read this aloud to my 8-year old and she couldn't get enough. She did a fun book project on it for school and now she's looking for the next book in the series. High recommendation from the 4th grader!

Sherrie Petersen Well, you can't argue when the kids are begging you to read more, right? :)
